  9. The ilbm executable is the one you really want to use. If you are 
  10. remaking ilbm, then you'll probably need an ANSI compiler ala gcc.
  11. I don't think there would be much of a problem in compiling this
  12. on a properly equiped Amiga either. If someone does it, could you
  13. please let me know.

  15. Type 'ilbm' with no arguments to get a usage.
  16. ilbm -v will give you a quick version identification.

  18. Try reading an ilbm with the included Brightside.iff file and you're on
  19. your own for getting any Sun Rasters, although those should be fairly
  20. easy to get. In fact, you can now make one from Brightside.

  22. I've also spent some time adding the Amiga 24 bit IFF format to the popular
  23. X-windows graphic manipulation tool XV2.21. I've been in contact with the
  24. author of XV and I will be sending him the code for inclusion with the
  25. next release of XV. I'd rather not release any adhoc patches to XV2.21 without
  26. the authors approval. Anyway, look for it at an ftp site where you normally
  27. shop. He has said to expect that release soon.

  29. Permission is given to redistribute this code as long as all the attributions
  30. are retained and no money is charged for the distribution. If you wish to
  31. use this code in a commercial product, permission must be granted from the
  32. author. If you make any improvments or stomp any bugs, please let me
  33. know so I can add them to any further distributions. Thank you.
